Our community garden site is a play-based learning haven! We are creating a culture that supports the learner recognizing that THE WORLD is a classroom. When youth and adults come to our space, we hope that we spark their desire for life long learning and support their commitment to themselves to be the constantly evolving amazing people that they were created and designed to be! Play-based learning takes the fear out of exploring new themes and makes the learning process fun for all ages.
When youth come to our site for programming, they leave with "Tegan's Project Box", a play-based learning activity that they can do at home or anywhere! When your organization schedules your small group session, you may select which project box you would like for us to send home with your kids! Please see below for your options! Project boxes are also available at our mobile store on Mondays and Wednesdays starting on June 26th.
